This is my first of the 4 UKCP core modules, so I have a question about what is expected for the assignments.
The essay element seems clear, (I'm presuming standard essay format, Harvard referencing etc).
But what of the assignment questions?
Are brief/relatively informal answers acceptable as long as they show evidence of understanding. Or is a 'mini essay' with Harvard referencing, range of arguments expected?
For example, question 1:
Describe some of the long-term effects which could occur through the application of a diagnostic label to a client, eg personality disorder.
How much time/words would be expected for this type of question?
Are we expected to reference papers/books etc. Or is it OK to present our understanding/opinion, slightly less formally, although obviously informed by reading/experience etc.
And for question of the.... (physical symptoms of depression) type - does a bullet point list suffice?
Would appreciate some guidance
